Julius H. Grey
Julius H. Grey is a senior attorney who practices in many areas of law. He received his training from both McGill University as well Oxford. He was admitted to the Quebec bar in 1974.
He was a member of the McGill Law Faculty from 1977 until 2002 in addition to teaching at both University of Montreal and the Canadian Human Rights School in Charlottown. He was the president of the Canadian Human Rights Foundation from 1985 until 1988. In 1984 he published a text on Immigration Law in Canada. He continues to publish many articles, on both technical legal subjects as well as subjects of more general public interest.
In 2004, Me Grey received the Medaille du Barreau, which is the highest distinction given by the Barreau du Quebec for a legal career.
In 2014, Me Grey published a book with Geneviève Nootens called Julius Grey. Entretiens avec Geneviève Nootens detailing his thoughts about his life, career path, and personal philosophy.
